Are you a gay man visiting Istanbul for the first time? Are you a stranger to the gay world of this mysterious metropolis? You surely need somebody to lead you the way during your first few days. This tour does not aim to cover everyday of your vacation. A one-time reservation will normally be enough to help you continue on your own for the rest of your vacation in Istanbul. Remember the main idea of the program is to make an introduction to the gay scene of the city.

OUR GUIDES
We have several experienced English speaking accompany-guides who have been doing these tours for a while and who are very experienced about the gay life and gay venues of Istanbul. 

Indeed they will be very useful to you in terms of  saving time and energy, mainly because most of the places are very difficult to find in Istanbul and the gay culture of Turkey is fairly different than most of the Western countries. Besides, very few people speak English or any other foreign languages in Istanbul and it will be very difficult for you to communicate with people especially in your first days.

We are not claiming that it is impossible to find these venues on your own, but with our guidance it will take a few hours instead of a few weeks and you will be safer.  Our guides will naturally tell you where to go, but actually they will also be telling you where not to go, and what not to do. They will also provide you very useful tips about about the possible dangers that you may encounter in a big and cosmopolite city like Istanbul.

Tour Options

NIGHT TOUR #1 - Walking tour - 4 hours
Tour time: from 20:00 until 24:00 o'clock (flexible if requested).
This will be mainly an informative walking tour around the Taksim area. Remember majority of the gay bars & clubs are actually open/busy after midnight. There will still be several open gay/gay-friendly cafe shops during this tour to stop for a cup of coffee or a bottle of beer. You will also be informed about baths, saunas, cinemas and other after-midnight clubs and bars on the way, whether they are open or closed at that time. 

NIGHT TOUR #2 - Gay Bar & Club Tour - 4 hours
Tour time: from 23:00 until 03:00 am (flexible if requested).
This will be an accompany tour to the after-midnight gay bars and clubs around Taksim. We will normally visit 4-5 major bars and clubs and stay wherever you like for a couple of drinks as much as you like. Your guide will make you suggestions about where to go depending on your interest, Your guide will also help you communicate with people on the way and introduce you to some local gay people, the staff and managers of the bars etc.

NIGHT TOUR #3 - Walking + Gay Bar & Club Tour - 4 hours
Tour time: from 22:00 until 02:00 am (flexible if requested).
This is a mixture of Night Tour #1 and #2. It will be mainly walking tour in the first 2 hours when you can also stop by for resting in 1 or 2 gay/gay friendly cafe-shops, and visit several gay bars clubs after midnight. You can return to your hotel or continue on your own to visit other gay clubs you have been advised during the tour by your guide

NIGHT TOUR #4  - Long Night Tour - 6 hours
Tour time: from 21:00 until 03:00 am (flexible if requested).
This will be a connected and longer version of the above options. This option is recommended who are looking for a more relaxed time for the places to be visited. After a short introduction walking tour of the gay area, and then you will visit the major bars and clubs in a reasonable order.

Price per tour for Night Tour #1, # 2 and #3 (4 hours)
50 Euro total for 1 person privately
70 Euro total for 2 persons privately

Price per tour for Night Tour #4 (6 hours)
70 Euro total for 1 person privately
90 Euro total for 2 persons privately
105 Euro total for 3 persons privately
120 Euro total for 4 persons privately

The prices include only guidance and cash payment is requested.
Cost of transportation, entrance fees/drinks/cloakrooms etc for you and for the guide is not included.
We will help you to keep your expenses at the minimum level according to your budget.
You will be taken from your hotel when tour starts, but on the way back you will be set free at tour area unless you pay for the extra transportation cost of the guide.

All options are private. You can finish the tour ahead of time if you think you had enough, but still full payment will be requested as a principle. For big groups please ask special price. We will provide private minivan/bus service upon request. Private gay cruising tour can also be combined with private guided city tours.
