Chaplin is mostly visited by younger Turkish gay men and the prices are reasonable compared to other gay bars in Istanbul. It has a friendly atmosphere where you can talk to people unlike other gay bars, most of which are usually very loud. It is usually more busy at the evening hours, roughly between 20:00-24:00 o'clock.
