A new pre-club venue, opened in March 2025, is conveniently located on a side street parallel to Istiklal Avenue. Situated on the first floor of a historic Beyoğlu building, the space features a spacious and beautifully designed apartment.

K A fun, friendly, colorful and safe space with friendly staff and patrons. Large smoking area was always crowded but there is also plenty of seating for non-smokers and even quiet rooms with seating for couples and groups. Matthew The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The bar/club played Turkish pop music which the locals seemed to like a lot. A good place to have a few drinks before heading out. Except, I wish it was a bit fuller on a Friday night  (Google / August 2025)

Will Gartshore Ex Bar is a great spot with a friendly, local, mature and attractive crowd and a relaxed atmosphere. Great prices. Perfect spot to start a Friday or Saturday evening before hitting the club. Or to grab a drink or two before calling it a night. (Google / June 2025)

Jerry I went to Ex Bar with my gay tour guide on a Thursday night at around 11 pm.  There were more than a dozen of people even though it was a midweek day. More people came around midnight. The beer was 250 TL (apprx $6). Even though this is almost twice the prices in regular street pubs in the vicinity, it is the cheapest beer you can get in any gay bar in Istanbul (Pink Guides / May 2025)
