Tekyon has remained one of the most popular gay clubs in Istanbul since the early 2000s, despite relocating several times. The club attracts a diverse mix of gay men of varying ages and styles, as well as a significant number of gay tourists. Although its current location boasts the largest capacity among all gay bars and clubs in the city, it is almost always jam-packed on Saturday nights and it is quite crowded on Friday nights as well. The other days of the week depend on the shows and activities they organize, but it will not be busy before midnight in any day of the week.

"This place is absolutely disgusting. Everything is ridiculously expensive — drinks are overpriced, entry is overpriced, and even the cloakroom is insanely expensive. You literally have to pay a crazy amount of money just to leave your jacket. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and clearly doesn’t care about customers. Editors Note: You are totally right about your disaapointment but make you the locals also suffer from that in gay night clubs. They do not care whether you are tourist or not, when it is a matter of making money.

"The drinks are very expensive for Istanbul. There is no menu or price list available for the beverages, which is quite inconvenient.
