When XLarge Club first opened in Beyoglu during the
late 2000s, it quickly gained a reputation with the
quality of its shows. Around 2013, the club relocated to
a larger venue approximately 15 kilometers outside the
city center (Taksim). While it remains a popular spot
for the LGBT community, the majority of its clientele
now consists of straight men and women. The venue also
hosts performances by famous Turkish singers and DJs.
Although there is a nearby subway station (Ataturk Oto
Sanayi), a taxi ride seems to be the best option to get
there at night time. If you’re a solo tourist, adjusting
to the atmosphere might be difficult. We highly
recommend going with friends, or even better, with local
gay men if possible. It is a venue where money talks, so
go there if you don't worry about the expenses if you’re
looking to have a good time.

What can I say? At the entrance, they forced us to take a table with a bottle, paying €200 for three. There's no option for individual entry. At the entrance, there are several thugs trying to skim off the money with the club's approval. The bottle was a €3 vodka. The place was half-empty on a Saturday night, and there wasn't even a chance to get up from your table to dance. Nice shows, but definitely not a place to go dancing. I wouldn't go back." We went with 6 people (5 men and a girl) and they would let us in only if we hired a private table and after asking us what we would drink they wanted us to pay 1750 TL (apprx $60) for the table and a bottle of local drink. (Google / May 2024) |

"We went here like 4 years ago when it was a bigger venue, now the space is split in half with another club and it was kinda meh. They wanted us to do bottle service which was 8000TL (apprx 200$) for a small bottle of Malibu which is insane.. and the entertainment was okay just not a real dancing environment since you just stand at a table and dance around it. For the price you pay it was not as fun as hitting clubs in the Taksim area.." (Google / June 2025) |
