Kavalye Beach opened its doors in 2010 in downtown
Bodrum. The owner, previously a partner at another prominent gay club in
Istanbul, also manages
Pasha Motel in Bodrum. The location is superb,
situated right in the heart of Barlar Sokagi (bar street) and overlooking the
beach. During the daytime, the venue and the beach in front of the bar transform
into a beach-cafe, where guests can enjoy chill-out music, swim, and leisurely
sip their drinks in a serene and relaxed atmosphere. As night falls, the energy
picks up, creating a vibrant scene. Before heading there, we recommend checking
their social media pages, as they may be closed on certain weekdays or during
the winter season.

"The only gay bar in Turkey maybe? Very nice people, lovely setting right on the water - you can come here during the day and get a sunbed (“free” right now). The cocktails are pretty awful - and not cheap (800TL (apprx $18) in October 2025 for a cocktail) - but I want to support our people wherever we go, so GO there! Great evening views" (Google/Oct 2025) |

"Great little LGBTQ+ friendly cafe/bar with friendly service and good music. The prices are not cheap but that's to be expected for beach-front establishments in Bodrum. Recommend having a drink and chilling here." (Google / Sept 2025) |

"Nice place but a rip off. My friend and I had 4 drinks (2 beers and 2 Pina Colada’s) around 7pm and they charged us 2,250Tl (£42). Considering we had the same drinks in another beachfront bar the following evening at half the price, this place really rips off its customers" (Google / Aug 2025) |
